personal relations. something i've always struggled with, and have avoided with considerable success until recently. i never expected to have to employ significant amounts of pr skills (which i obviously lack) in the Bible-study coordinating role. so far, i've had 2 major "issues" in which i have had to make a difficult decision, and then spend considerable time talking to individuals about that decision. it's extremely hard, praying and hoping you are wise, then having to turn a bullet into a pat on the back in order not to shake the person too much. i hate having to do all these, but i will continue to pray for wisdom in making right choices and strength to carry them out.
how long does one have to pay for a mistake made in the "young and ignorant" years?
i've seen people hold on to a mistake made when they didn't know better. i've seen people cut the mistake off ruthlessly now that they've grown up and matured in understanding. i've done the latter before. which is the right thing to do?
who knows.
